Anna started her career as filmmaker in 2013 when she entered Filmmaking at Taras Shevchenko National University in Kyiv from where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. However, their teachings seemed constricted to the Post-Soviet view of the art form, and in 2016 she came to USA to learn other techniques to express her creativity.
She earned her first income through fashion photography and by covering Fashion Weeks around the globe. By 2017 Anna’s work has been published in such magazines as Vogue UA, ELLE, L’officiel and Harper’s Bazaar.
After returning to the US in 2018 and graduating with a degree in Cinematography, her work has been showcased at festivals including Austin Film Festival, Raindance, LA Shorts International Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, among others. In 2020 she officially became an ICFC member.
Due to Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Anna moved to Europe where she continues to work as a cinematographer and brings narratives to life.
